Wednesday: UCT, Clifton Beach and Greenpoint


Wednesday morning I took Kate to my Public Culture in Africa class-which she seemed to enjoy. 
Then, we hopped in a taxi and went out to Clifton beach. This area of Cape Town has the most expensive real estate in South Africa, it's not hard to see why:




We ended the day with a braii in Greenpoint with some friends of the wedding party (wedding pictures to follow). Above is construction on the 2010 World Cup stadium, below is the view of the sunset from the private mountain-side villa where the braii was hosted. It's been a tough week.

    I received some Clifton Beach sand today via my birthday gift mule, Kate, and it's awesome...along with all of the other gifts! Haha Allison's the BEST!!!
